"WHERE THE SKY MEETS THE EARTH"

"Here,
comes the sky to meet the earth who embraces thou with love & pride !".
Ladakh is a land where the sky bows to the greatness of the earth and
unites greatness and infinite vastness. Ladakh lies on the western edge of
the Tibetan plateau and is bordered by the Himalayan Range to the south and
the Karakoram to the north. Majestical peaks shadow the sun-baked landscape
and glacial melt rejuvinates precious crops during the brief growing season.
Ladakh has been a place of origin of Vajrayana Buddhism for the last 1000
years and its tremendous natural beauty is complemented by magnificent
medieval monasteries, white washed chortens, and brightly colored prayer
flags.
The Road - Map........
Usually the trek starts from the capital of Leh on to Likhir, Alchi, and
Basgo through remote villages to Tingsmogang. Along the way there are
opportunities to meditate at historic sites, stay in local guesthouses, and
trek through some of Asia's most breathtaking scenery. After the first two
weeks in central Ladakh, it is best to continue on to the recenwoods echoing
with the splendid avian life. Higher up are spectacular open meadows full of
beautiful wild flowers and friendly locals. Later, climb towards the Parbati
Pass (5,319 m) over a moraine glacier with magnificent views of the
snowcapped peaks all around.
The picturesque Parbati range and Spiti peaks are simply incredible. While
descending from the ver Rafting bonanza.
Sikkim is India's smallest state, but perfect for trekking. It perches, a
touch insouciantly, between Nepal, China, Tibet and Bhutan, and over the
centuries has been influenced and indeed populated from all these areas.
Kanchendzonga (8,586 M), the third highest mountain in the world, dominates
the states, being both awesome topographical landmark and a sacred deity.
