The journey can be started from Tibet with a spectacular flight over the snow-covered mountains of the everest- Malaku and Kanchanjunga. In Lhasa visit the Potala, the famous palace of the Dalai Lama, Norbulinkha, the great Drepung Monastery and the holy Jokhang Temple.

The next move would be Mt. Kailash.
Mt. Kailash (6714 m) - also known as Tise, Kailasa or Kang Rinpoche (Jewel of the Snows) it has been celebrated in many eastern cosmologies as Mt. Meru, the axis-mundi. It is the center of the cosmic symphony that echoes in this physical world, Mt. Meru (Kailash) is sacred to the Hindus, the Buddhists, the Jains, and the Bonpos.

Moderate to strenuous trekking from 2,805m (9,200ft) to 4,940m (16,200ft) with one pass crossing of 5,422m (17,783ft) and day hikes up to 5550m (18,200ft).The trek can also start from Katmandu and can further follow the trail.
